Create a YouTube Subscribe Link

In this guide, I will show you how to create a YouTube subscribe link. When you create a link in this format it will present the user with a “Confirm Channel Subscription” modal when they land on your YouTube profile. You can see an example of this in the image below.

YouTube - Subscribe Link Example

An example link is the following https://www.youtube.com/c/digidank?sub_confirmation=1. Click on it, you will be prompted with a modal asking you to subscribe if you are not already.

What makes this possible is adding the query parameter of ?sub_confirmation=1 on the end of your channel URL. This tells YouTube when your profile is loaded that you would like for this confirmation to be displayed.

You can use an online tool for this if you would like. It will allow you to do a single channel or large list at once. Digital Toolchest – Create YouTube Subscribe Link is my tool to help make this process easier.

As you can see it is easy to create a YouTube subscribe link. To the best of my knowledge, there is no way for a link to auto-subscribe the user to the channel without this confirmation. This makes sense since it would open up the possibility for people to get lots of subscribers in a dishonest or malicious way.

Go ahead and give it a shot-creating your YouTube subscribe link. Drop a comment down below sharing it so we can test it out and see what your YouTube channel is all about. What else would you like to learn about YouTube? Let me know what how-to you would like to see next!
