This guide will show you how to find the Atom version installed on your computer. This can be helpful when you are reporting bugs, or want to find out if you are on the latest and greatest version of the program. Typically when software companies release new features in their programs they will let you know which version it was released in. Checking the version of atom is easy and can be done in just a couple seconds.

Help
>About Atom
A new window will appear in your atom editor. - On the new tab that opens you can find the version number and architecture right under the logo. In this example I have Version
1.43.0
(outlined in red) and it installed thex64
architecture (outlined in green).
